Atelier Gift Program — Official Rules

These rules exist so that every visitor — whether they've followed the work for years or found it yesterday — can see exactly how winners are chosen, and trust it.

1. No purchase necessary

Entering or winning any part of the Atelier Gift Program (the hidden hearts hunt, newsletter draws, quizzes, and any other mechanic described on shop.jehanlegac.com) never requires a purchase. Every way to win is free to enter.

2. Who can enter

  • Open to anyone, anywhere, aged 18 or over (or the age of majority in their country of residence, if higher).
  • No purchase, payment, or minimum spend is required at any stage.

3. Who cannot enter

To keep the draws genuinely open, the following are not eligible to win:

  • Jehan Legac
  • Studio assistants and immediate family members of the above

This exclusion is permanent and applies to every draw, every tier, with no exceptions.

4. How the monthly draw works

  • On or around the 1st of each month, one winner is selected at random from everyone subscribed to the newsletter at the time of the draw.
  • The draw is performed live, on Instagram, using Random.org — an independent random number generator used worldwide for transparent giveaways.
  • Each draw produces a public verification certificate from Random.org, timestamped and linked in the post announcing the winner, so anyone can confirm the draw was genuine and unmanipulated.
  • Every subscriber has exactly one entry per draw, regardless of how long they've been subscribed. No one's name is entered more than once.

5. Odds of winning

Odds depend on the number of eligible subscribers at the time of each draw and are not fixed. As the list grows, individual odds change accordingly — there is no guaranteed frequency of winning.

6. Other ways to win

  • Hidden hearts hunt — available continuously on the site. Anyone who finds all hidden hearts in a single visit receives an entry-level gift automatically; this is not a random draw and has no entry limit.
  • Quizzes and other mechanics — rules specific to each mechanic are described where they appear on the site. Any mechanic that involves a random element will follow the same Random.org + public verification standard described above.

7. Prize tiers

Gifts fall into four tiers, described in full on the site:

  • Entry level — small items (prints, stickers, postcards, and similar), awarded frequently
  • Mid tier — meaningful gifts (signed prints, mugs, totes, and similar), awarded through the monthly draw
  • Premium — rare and valuable (silk scarves, large-format prints), awarded occasionally
  • Ultra rare — exceptional gifts (a small original work, and other exceptional pieces), awarded once or twice a year at most

Exact gift contents within each tier may vary and are illustrated, not guaranteed to be identical for every winner in that tier.

8. Shipping and the credit alternative

  • Winners of a physical gift are responsible for shipping costs to their address.
  • As an alternative, any winner may choose to convert their gift into site credit of equivalent value, redeemable on shop.jehanlegac.com, with no shipping cost. There is no obligation to choose one over the other.
  • Gifts are not exchangeable for cash, except where credit is explicitly offered as the stated alternative.

9. Winner notification and claim window

  • Winners are notified by email and/or publicly announced (first name and city/country only, with consent) within 5 business days of the draw.
  • Winners have 30 days from notification to claim their gift. Unclaimed gifts after this period may be redrawn or carried to the next draw, at the organiser's discretion.

10. Use of personal data

Email addresses and any personal information collected for entry are used solely to run the program (selecting and contacting winners) and are not sold or shared with third parties. See the site's privacy policy for full detail.

11. Changes to these rules

These rules may be updated as the program grows. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date below. Changes do not affect draws that have already taken place.

12. Organiser

This program is operated by Jehan Legac, via Yoda Art Limited (Hong Kong). It is offered as a gesture of appreciation to the artist's audience and is not operated for commercial gain.
